Polly, I am so sorry for your loss. As anyone who ever had the honor of knowing Paul can attest, he was a wonderful, intelligent, kind and funny man. He will be remembered and missed by many. Sincerely, Bev

It's so nice to hear from you, Bev...Paul has talked about you often since we all had lunch together that time. Thank you for your kind wishes and for thinking of me.

Polly, Paul is already sorely missed. At Ames there are many people interested in remembering him. Since we've heard there will not be a service, there is a plan to create an online memorial. Please let us know if you are interested in any aspect of such a thing. Sincerely, Sue

I am stunned as another has mentioned - Paul was a supremely kind-hearted soul who so obviously supported you with strength and devotion. His chrisma was like a subtle purfume that wafted through a room, leaving it a brighter, more hopeful place. His mind and heart were the perfect mariage of a practical man with a poet's soul. The world is a dimmer place without him, though his glow will remain in your eyes.
I am truly sorry for your loss, and I regret I never knew him as the friend he promised to be.
