err, sorry, didn't mean to be snarky, but i couldn't help myself emulating the spam. I usually follow their username to the blog and flag it and then nuke the comments, but I can tell by my email, that they're attacking my old posts, which is annoying, but i'm not going to hunt them out to kill them.
I saw the dog thing on snopes the other day. that island has a whooole lotta strays, which doesn't make using them for bait ok, but does present it's own problems. I don't see why using an already deceased dog or cat would be better or worse than using any other already-dead animal. live is gross, of course, but the slaughter of sharks is even more alarming. those fish are endangered!
Indeed the whole thing's screwed up from top to bottom. It's a shame how most folks can only relate to the suffering of Cute Animals. Shark fishing counts as animal cruelty too.

I have an urban legends website. It pretty much claims that the dog thing isn't entirely true.
